I bought a month of PS+ to see if I can play online with my aforementioned poor NAT type. The answer is: kinda. When I get into a match it's fine. Any delay isn't noticeable. I just don't know if my struggles to get into a match are because of my connection or because the game is just broken. Lots of people on this site are complaining about matchmaking and everything so that might be it. Impossible to say.
