Final Decision

I was confused as to when Carlos got the alien cards (not that I believe they explained how anyone figured out those are thick enough to be impenetrable to the watch needles), but I guess Akane got them off camera as he lured Junpei away. So many pot calling kettle black moments in this game. Carlos didn't let Junpei in on the plan because Junpei seemed like he was a bad actor, but Carlos was awful at selling his act.

I'm also confused on Delta's motives. So far, I have heard he did it to save humanity, because he wanted to be born with the mind hacking abilities, and he was simply curious. While I guess those aren't in conflict with each other, they seem to be all over the place.

Phi was sent from 1904 to 2008, but Delta really is 124 years old. Is that just not going to be explained how he became the oldest person on record to live and for him to be as physically and mentally spry as he is? For as good as some people are at operating during a crisis, Phi and Eric are are basically at the bottom of that totem poll, and I can't really feel sorry for the rest for letting those two lead them to a self-destruct counter.

I could do without a totally uncalled for shot of dead Gab. I guess I forgot that the characters wouldn't know that Delta can control minds. Well, Diana probably did based when she survived the quantum room massacre, but she's not exactly great at putting two and two together. Ah yes, one of the oldest tricks in the book: Have the villain tell the protagonists they have two options and die before the second one is revealed. We love it when that happens, said no one ever.
