Dom5 just came out and would probably be my choice here if I had played it, but I don't have the money for it. The game itself isn't hard. In fact, it's embarrassingly easy when you're only playing AI. Therefore the real fun is in multiplayer, but the game's small fanbase ensures that only the most hardcore players are into it, and they have such a high degree of technical knowledge that it's hard to compete.
