Do you believe this teacher's story?

A FIRST Grade Heifer in Florida has caused outrage after she made a "typo" on a home assignment that spelled out a racial slur and then gave a pathetic apology for the "inconvenience"

It happened at Hamilton Elementary School in Sanford where she sent home an assignment that used the n-word instead of the word "bigger"

But when Terry Day's 6 y/o daughter, Rosa came home from school with it, she didn't know what to think and said "My daughter said to me, i know that word and i know what that word means, but is this supposed to be on my paper?"

She spoke with the teacher and wasn't impressed with the response and said "Well, you didn't spell check your word? You didn't proofread your word before you sent that out? And the teacher said, it is a word, and i didn't like the attitude behind that one"

The teacher explained that the "B" and "N" are right next to each other and she ACCIDENTALLY typed the latter when she meant to say bigger

A school spokesman, Michael Lawrence said "The district is aware of the unintentional and unfortunate mistake regarding the typo on the spelling words worksheet. The teacher involved has taught here for many eyars and is extremely remorseful about the situation. The school has already fixed and updated the spelling words and redistrubted to the students in that particular class"

The remorse however wasn't the reaction the teacher conveyed which she sent out a statement with "Dear Parents, please be advised there was a misspelled word on the blue spelling list i sent home yesterday. Please throw the blue list away and refer to this list for the next 6 weeks. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause"

It didn't mention the word she misspelled and Terry was outraged who said "Inconvenience" means sorry for the obther. So i mean, it was not apologetic, it was not "sorry". Even when i met her in person, she wasn't sorry"

They don't want her punished as her daughter likes the teacher but felt an apology was due and was offended as she said racism is prevalent.

Do you believe the teacher's story? let's see what people will vote.
