You tacked on all the noise about gens and it being a starter and "oh i meant in gen 1" and etc.

It was literally listed in a selection of reasons promoting Bulbasaur. Which generations was Bulbasaur a starter in again? But you chose to pigeonhole by claiming that Bulbasaur was a bad starter because Sleep Powder sucks in Gen 7, a place where Bulbasaur isn't even a starter. And that was after you tried to argue, "Well, sleep powder isn't OP, the sleep mechanic is OP!", which overlooks that the mechanic is the move's function.

That's not to mention that you tried to argue that Venusaur was never used for physical attacks, despite swords dance and body slam being a popular gen 1 combo which -- by the way -- was usually set up following a sleep powder.
