Oh wait, can't do that with Final Fantasy XV since it's getting a SECOND season pass that won't even come with the newest edition of the game. Remember when we could just buy a game and unlock things as we play? Too bad, chum. Get ready to shell out another $50 or more if you want to experience everything in the game :) Are expansion passes and DLC a bad idea? No, but they can definitely be overpriced or used to sell what should be unlockable through the game like different costumes or something. Did you just buy a new game and you want to play it as soon as you get home? That's too bad. Have fun waiting potentially hours on end for the updates to finish. Looking at you, Doom. 58 GB. What the hell? Remember when video games were a nice form of escapism? Welp, enjoy developers obviously shoving some type of political agenda in the games they make now. I'm looking at you, Bioware. I love video games but this industry makes me want to just quit the hobby sometimes. This shit has been going on for YEARS and it's not getting any better despite the criticism. What made me go on this tangent, you're probably not wondering? I was one of the fools who bought FF XV at midnight release and look at where we are now. Square Enix played me like a damn fiddle.
