Which was completely Mattel's fault, since their merch sucked and was vastly overpriced. The smaller figures were created to be compatible with Mattel's then-failing JLU toyline while the larger figures were given oversized diorama pieces and priced at either $20 or $25 which, at that point, was far more expensive than Mattel's other comparable -- and at the time pretty successful -- DC line. (And, looking through the line-up, apparently Mattel staggered the larger figures so only 2-3 characters were available at a time. Fucking stupid way to do things.)
