Topic	so wait, is a text alert really the only defense Hawaii has from nukes?

There are some in place, but they barely work in controlled environments let alone against an actual surprise launch, where they've never been tested. The reliability of individual systems is spotty at best but I am curious if the systems have ever been fully tested in conjunction with another.
