Been working pretty hard on career development recently and its become increasingly obvious that my hillbilly county is just total death in terms of getting me where I need to be. Its just a s***ty manufacturing and industrial capital where low potential human beings accept their fate in society and slaves to the elite.

But seriously, this is pretty much everywhere...if you don't have the 'right' connections, you're pretty much gonna have to start at the bottom of the pile.

As for the cities you mentioned:

- The Bay Area: if you're talking about San Fran, forget it. If you think NYC housing is expensive, then SF is a totally upper level of ultra-pricey. If you don't have any kind of Tech/Coding skills, then forget it.

- Las Vegas: Not much better either...again, pretty much food service/casino and security jobs for entry level work.

-San Diegon Don't know much about this city; heard it was a beautiful place, but expensive as well.

- Chicago: I guess you don't hear about the violence there, huh?

- Atlanta: Not a bad choice, IMO...I dunno what you mean by 'colored' utopia (what is your race), but again, it's in the South, but not as bad as other 'Southern' cities, if you are really looking to get away from that.

- NYC: Big city (my current place) with alot of opportunities, but then again, you will probably have to start at the bottom in order to work your way up. And it's not that expensive (just Manhattan for the most part) as you can find some cheap spots in the outer burroughs.
