So we got there late and ended up seeing Jumanji. You were right, a movie isn't a good first date at all. We were connecting and talking fine in the lobby and then the movie kind of ruined that. Whole time I was wondering if she wanted me to hold her hand, but I'm not good at making any kind of move no matter how small and we sat right next to a mom and her kids any way.

Movie ended late and we were both tired so we went our separate ways after, but I gave her a hug and thanked her for the fun time. She seemed like she wanted to hang out again, wanted to know if I would call/text her.

Overall not bad. I'm actually kind of glad nothing happened. All of my previous GF's I was intimate with on the first date and it made the relationship get old fast (along with spending way too much time together).

I could kind of tell actually. She kept taking her hands in and out of her coat and moving them around. Could kind of tell she was waiting for me to reach out or something..I'm just basically borderline handicapped at receiving signals sometimes. This is basically me:

My previous girlfriends all complained that they always had to initiate fooling around and told me they wished I was more confident and hoped I would make moves more often. I just have this irrational fear of rejection or misinterpreting a signal and making things awkward.
