What made it even more jarring was that Plan B (talking to her mother's old teammates) was reasonable and actually worked. It felt like they threw the chase scene in because they needed to fill a laugh quota but it was so forced that it didn't work for me. Don't get me wrong, I'm still enjoying the show a lot.
