This says the lock comes before the spread.

Just now looking at this topic today, so sorry if I'm missing what this is in direct reference to, but locks do come in before the spread tiebreaker. The spread tiebreaker is used for both people picking the wrong team (but only when either both locked, or both did not lock).

Personally, because the quick explanation on both incorrect states:

"-If both users pick the same team, and are wrong -- whoever did NOT lock will advance."

without using the other steps that follow, I think the same logic has to apply for correct locks especially when the point margin is not stated in the explanation to trump locks. (You can just list it in the weeks to follow) Sorry Ashe, but I would say andel advances since point margin is not listed as being > than Locks.

While it was a mistake to not include the "and by how much" in the quick explanation, Ashethan also said to ask him any questions if there was confusion that needed clearing up, and I specifically asked him how picking the amount of points factors in, and he clarified it in his post before any of the games were played.

I'll admit maybe it gets a bit hairy in that perhaps people sent their picks in earlier in the week than that question was answered without looking back at the topic, but also in Ashethan's defense, the full rules do state that "and by how much" factors in before locks.

Edit: Though, I'm just now looking back at the time stamps, and it looks like my question about it was answered within 24 hours of the topic being posted, so I'm not sure how many people would have sent their picks in that early.
