They were mainstream 30 years ago yeah but not today. Those bands have legendary status because they're that old and came fron a time from when Metal was in the mainstream spotlight but it fizzled out and is gone pretty much, no bands that are formed today will ever have a chance of getting that level of spotlight today, It's just impossible.
