| darkphoenix181 01/04/18 6:38:12 PM #37: | Mainly not owning property and being property of their husbands. If a woman was unmarried then she would be property of her father. If she had no father she likely could not find food easily. Pillaging and raping villages was a common thing, and the women were taken by the conquerors. It is hard to use this to say women had it bad though since the men of the village would be tortured to death and violently killed with their heads winding up on pikes. --- chill02 to me: you are beautiful ...
