It's not really meant to be a handwave as much as pinpointing where his improvements actually were. I mean Braun Strowman blew the category out and I don't think people are saying he's gotten significantly better in the ring-- maybe you'd say that last year but early 2017 Braun Strowman is basically identical in the ring to late 2017 Strowman. --- No problem!
