I found it very hard to keep track of what I was doing. One quest chain is dependent on another that's dependent on another that's dependent on another. I started up the game once after not playing for a week or so, couldn't sort out what the hell I needed to do and that was the last time I played.

Gotta love how Bethesda writes their quests so you can just pick and play after a hiatus.

Oh ... wait.

I remember taking a break from Witcher 3 to play Fallout 4. If I stopped playing for a couple days I would be totally lost because the friggin' quest log just said "go talk to this guy", but I didn't necessarily remember why I was supposed to talk to him. Pick up Witcher 3 again, there's a full journal detailing all the events that happened up to that point in the game and the quest journal has all the information I need to understand what's going on.
