Did the Xbox have a single relevant exclusive this whole year?
Microsoft announced over a year ago that all Xbox One exclusives will also be available on W10. Technically the Xbox no longer has any new platform exclusives, just the early ones that were made before they made the decision to have everything on both.

Honestly I applaud them for the pro consumer decision to give players choice for which platform to play on, but yeah, they kinda shot themselves in the foot by making well the games available on a better platform than yours.
They didn't do it to be pro consumer and they didn't shoot themselves in the foot. It's pretty obvious that they want to focus more on PC gaming than consoles in the future. I wouldn't be surprised if they create their own Steam like platform next gen and create exclusive PC games for it. If they get rid of their console division then they'd make a much larger profit off of games because they don't have to worry about selling hardware anymore
I'm not saying they did it to be pro consumer, I'm saying it was a nice pro consumer movie, whether it was intentionally so or not. And in regards to specifically the Xbox brand they shot themselves in the foot. There already wasn't really a reason to have an Xbox One to begin with, they just made it worse. ---
