You do realize that a wolf's canines are much longer than any domestic dog right? A lion often needs help to take down a zebra, and you're saying that one medium sized dog can take down an animal that weighs a 1,000 lbs? Because these animals run like fucking mad. There is no guarantee that a single lion will even catch the zebra before it gets tired. Lions tactics involve getting as close as possible in stealth and ambushing as close as they can. They're not afraid of losing the fight, they're afraid of the prey getting away. Multiple lions are involved to reduce the amount of escape routes and increase chances that one can get close enough to catch a straggler. If a pit bull attacked a horse, the horse would most likely run away. If it stayed to fight, it would lose, much like a zebra would lose against a lion except the lion is even stronger. --- ...
