It's pretty dumb to own a dog with such vicious killing instincts.

Pitbulls literally don't lol. They have to be beaten and abused to make them vicious. It's why whenever you see stories of them flipping out its because they've already gone through years or torment.

Bullshit. Samples of every breed of dog have been in less than ideal living situations, but pitbulls are the only ones latching onto people's necks and not letting go.

Because they have strong jaws. Strong jaws doesn't automatically preclude them to hurting people, the conditions that they're kept in does. If you set out to make your pitbull a vicious guard dog then that's exactly what you're going to get.

If you wanna go that route, then why not just keep a tiger as a pet? I don't keep a tiger as a pet because of the gigantic claws and teeth. I prefer having pets that can't kill me if they're slightly agitated.

Plus there's tons of dogs that are smart and loyal that DON'T kill people even though they can. Like German Shepherds.

You have to go through some pretty intense conditioning to train your pet tiger not to be a vicious killer in the same way you have to put your pet pitbull through intense conditioning just so it can become a guard dog that won't just lick the faces of intruders, so not at all an apt comparison there.
