How much of the general public votes for their elected officials outside of an R or a D next to their name? Do most of the people saying they're upset even know who their elected official is? No. Not at all. Most people are saying, "Wow this sucks, hope someone does something about it" It was handled in house, man. Americans had pretty much no say. It was a panel of 5 people that basically went and did whatever they wanted. Well, 3 iirc. Also Ajit Paid got appointed. Not elected. Edit: typo, but I left it because it seemed appropriate.
