| Topic | Is the Dexter season 5 trailer one of the most misleading trailers of all time? |

I know opinions and everything, but I honestly don't know how anyone could watch that abortion of a season and even think it was "decent" Which, 5? I didnt think it was awesome, but liked the Lumen as buddy-killer angle, liked Jordan Chase, and liked the setup for Deb to find out about Dexter. However, like most things in Dexter, they went chickenshit and backed off out of every possible decision that would move the show forward. Lumen? Leaves for no reason. Deb finding out about Dexter? Deus ex plastic sheet. Quinns investigation? Dropped. It had elements to be at least middle of the pack of the finale wasnt so weak. Its especially egregious because basically all of those elements eventually came back up two years later (with Hannah as a reskinned, less interesting Lumen) which tells you they had the endgame pieces in place mid-S5 but were too chicken to move forward. --- ...
