Considering he posted what he was accused of posting and got in trouble for posting, I'm not sure how that qualifies as a smear campaign. You can call it other things, but it's not a smear campaign. Yeah, of course Seder said what he said, no one is denying that. Not even Seder. But its an 8 year-old tweet dug up by the same alt-right dude that kicked off that whole Pizzagate farce that ended up getting a pizza joint shot up by some other alt-right lunatic. Not exactly a coincidence. Which, again, is solely defending the remark based on the person calling it out which is a weak defense.
