serious post:

If you believe in global warming than you have to believe in global cooling. The earth goes through ice ages and it goes through warming phases. Both is a natural part of the Earth's cycle.

Greenhouse gases can only do so much.

There is a cycle of cooling and warming, yes. But there are ranges those cycles stick to. You don't see extinction events like the one currently killing off the planet's coral reefs in natural cycles because the rising water temperatures are essentially starving them. Furthermore we can measure CO2 in stratum to across vast stretches of time to know how warm or cold the Earth gets in the course of those cycles. In comparing that to current temperature data and CO2 saturation we can know that the past century and the past forty years in particular are witness to an extraordinary warming event and that we, humanity, are likely the cause.

Plus it isn't that the climate is changing, it's.the rate at which it is changing. It's.going to lead to catastrophic consequences.
