Not really, any more than I throw a shitfit when the Japanese steal ideas from Norse mythology or Christianity and misuse them in their own stories. That being said, I DID find it annoying when they made a Forbidden Kingdom movie and shoehorned an annoying white teen dude into the lead role, but that's not quite the same thing. NightMareBunny posted... also the name "Light" i have never heard before in the united states To be fair, there's at least one book from the 1990s where the main character's name is Truth and her sister's name is Light.
