calling gay/bi men "walking HIV factories" is a rather cold way of pointing out some very legitimate issues within that community. all you have to do is break the numbers down. i'll just spoonfeed it to you:
http://news.gallup.com/poll/201731/lgbt-identification-rises.aspx

there are 4.1% of people who identify as LGBT. if we make it just people between 19-37 it goes up to 7.3%. that's men and women, of which women generally identify more of. the other numbers in there you see that may be confusing are the 3.7% of men reporting and 4.4% of women reporting but at the end of the day for these purposes it doesn't matter - the population of gay guys is pretty tiny. you're looking at single digit millions.

despite that, gay and bi men are responsible for 67% of all new HIV infections.
https://www.hiv.gov/hiv-basics/overview/data-and-trends/statistics

that's everyone who got a new infection. men, women, straight, gay, out of everyone, they made up 67% of that.

now add in sketchy testing practices within a highly sexually active group inside of this cross-section? it's reasonable to be cautious. wouldn't put it at "walking HIV factories" but certainly enough of a danger for you to say no. especially if your business is literally sex.

67% of HIV comes from men who have had gay sex, but what percentage of men who have had gay sex have HIV? (this is an actual question, I do not know.) Obviously it's more common with gay men, but is it more common enough to be... common?
