Why would anybody be against this? It's a win-win situation for tax payers and people who actually need food stamps.

To me it's about priorities? The Republican party claims to promote conservative values life family life, but pursues policies that destroy families that don't meet its picture perfect notion of what that should mean.

If you're a poor person with a family, and you happen to smoke a little weed because you're stressed out you should be denied food? What the fuck is that?

Also drug testing is horribly intrusive, and in my opinion, no state authority should be able to do it, let alone employers, unless you are in a job where lives are at stake.
