When dog gets scared it gets close to you, when cat gets scared it runs the fuck away from everyone and crawls into some unreachable hole so that firemen can take whole house down to save it, because it doesn't count on you to do shit. Dog also makes noise to alarm you if someone breaks into your home, cat stays silent, or at least won't make sure to wake you up. All in all, the dog is a team player.
