Palestine wants all of Jerusalem plus all of what is Israel. Lol.
I mean they literally used the UN to illegally occupy the land that most of them didn't even live in for generations. It's like how Americans displaced and murdered native Americans.
most land in the world has been taken from one group by another, this is nothing new. they legally own the land known as israel now and palestine seeks genocide so they aren't exactly a sympathetic lot
Except they acquire it through war or treaties, not by having other nations go in and do the dirty work for them. And then there's the whole wall thing and how Palestinians aren't allowed into holy places or most of the city if at all.
But hey, go ahead and say that their anger is unjustified when it happened in living memory. (Aka some of the literal displaced people still live) most just want their homes back or, you know, for their countrymen to not be forced into ghettos where there's missiles lobbed into it every few days and to actually have access to clean water and electricity on a reliable basis. The "genocide" spin is so totally wrong, it's a very limited portion of them and even then most don't act on it because there's still kids being arrested and killed for throwing pebbles at heavily armored tanks.
Meanwhile Israel has netanyahu literally calling for a genocide and given his position, and his approval ratings? Well.
palestine is synonymous with hamas, a terrorist organization. i do think israel is often too heavy handed but the entire region wants complete genocide of jewish people and israel is historically a nation of jewish people anyway.
you can be sympathetic to the plight of palestinians to a degree but they choose blatant terrorists to lead them and routinely launch rockets and the like at israel ---
