This. You could have probably gotten murder 2nd degree if you just tried to instead argue that he was firing bullets in random directions but they tried to make this case political and it backfired.


No chance he would have gotten 2nd. Voluntary manslaughter was the only possible conviction. They deliberated for days. It's complete bullshit that jury didn't think "well you know, this one charge says it could have been involuntary". Of course they went over that.

Are you really this dense? The case has been highly publicized and covered this entire time. You don't need to be physically present at the trial to form an opinion. Based on everything presented to the public, yes, this should have been involuntary manslaughter. Overzealous prosecution and politics messed it up.


You think someone who picks something off the ground, not knowing what it is should be convicted? Because that was the argument the defense had.
