I think they dump a new alpha every so often to avoid being taken to court but otherwise the ponzi scheme lives on. Last I heard, they were in trouble when it turned out they had moved their headquarters to the UK both to dodge taxes and because the UK has a "game makers fund" for developers that they could leech off of for more money. The reality is the CEO and his wife have already funneled everyone's money into international bank accounts, so the moment the heat turns up they'll just flee the country and live like kings until they die. --- "History Is Much Like An Endless Waltz.
