Ralph Baer did do a lot for gaming like invent a couple of genres but to call him the father of gaming is a bit much. I just feel like he got pity because he was jewish. Open up a console and you find the components of a pc dating back to the odyssey. Just because the signal did not go to a computer monitor did not mean you can not use a converter.
