If an area in a game makes me think about what it would smell like, think that means the environment artists won that one. I completely agree. The environments in this game are stellar. The attention to detail is insane. That's true of every from soft soulsborne game. The worlds are the maon character of the games. world building has to be on point since there's no overt storyline.
