I've definitely had moments when I was a teenager where I've misread signals and put an arm around a girl without realizing she wasn't into me, or grabbed an ex's butt when I thought she was hitting on me but I was incorrect. When you make mistakes like that you have to apologize in the moment, and hope she understands that it was a misunderstanding.
