Interestingly enough, UPN was also the studio that hosted Star Trek Voyager, a show typically not made to appeal to black audiences.


UPN was not a black channel, as you seem to think. It had some great shows I used to watch like Shasta McNasty, Roswell, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and WWF Smackdown!


Fair enough, but at that point, it was pretty much entirely aimed at a black market except for Star Trek Voyager.
