Overwatch is a solid game first and foremost and the loot box system was welcomed because it was a solid influx of cool cosmetic shit that was a bonus to playing the game.

Now loot boxes are overdone, stale, and are starting to make games grindier, and the whole focus of these games is how much shit are you willing to put up with to get those cosmetic (and sometimes more than cosmetic) items instead of focusing on enjoying the actual game.
