yeah, because overwatch was the first ever game to do that, and not the overwhelming amount of mobile games that've been doing it for literally so many years

Okay? The fact that Overwatch popularized loot crates in fully priced AAA games instead of inventing loot crates from scratch doesn't make them completely removed from the "AAA game loot crate epidemic" we're facing now as they would have you believe. It also doesn't change that the large majority of people who buy loot crates on any platform are either whales or gambling addicts, or both.
