Listing favorites here:

Crypt of the Necrodancer - Highly unique iteration of a roguelike dungeon crawl. Good music, aesthetic, game depth.

Overcooked - Haven't played much of this, but if I had a girlfriend, I would absolutely pick it as a first choice to co-op with.

Crusader Kings 2 - Medieval history simulator. Nothing quite like it.

Psychonauts - It's a classic.

Sins of a Solar Empire - A mix between RTS and turn base grand strategy game. Never thought it could exist, but here it be, and it's cool. Community is still active if you realllllly want to get deep into the game and not be a casual.

Spacechem - greatest puzzle game in existence. It's like dark souls in ethos.

X-COM - babby's first real strategy game. I jest, but it's got a legacy, and casual/hardcore appeal.

Tales of Maj'Eyal - The best, modern traditional roguelike RPG. It's actually the 4th iteration of the "series", it still gets updates, it's got a variety of classes that range from traditional to obtuse, and they're all unique and fun to play. Ridiculous amount of replayability and depth.
