But the reason I don't get upset when a black person says "white trash" is because I know it's got zero chance of affecting me in any serious way. Maybe I'd get angry if I lived in a predominantly black area and worried that by calling me "white trash" that it may turn everyone against me. But I don't, and it won't, so I don't care. I'm just saying this isn't some universal principle that everyone follows except for white people when discussing black people. Idc about what people call me regardless, yeah. I DO live in a predominantly black area, too. Not that my neighbors call me white trash.
