Like the entire history of Gondor in the Third Age was pretty neat in my opinion. Bad_Mojo posted... Never read the books and wasn't a huge fan of the movies because they were just kind of bland IMO. I think like most books, a TV show would be much better. I don't know why everyone is talking shit. I thought the fans of the books hated the movies? Nah I think most fans of the books still do like the films. I just read the books for the first time recently and also rewatched the movies these past couple days. The books are obviously better, but the movies are still great. Particularly for the battle scenes.
