Topic	How does your work allot vacation time around Christmas?

Everything around Christmas is blacked out for us because this father and son in my department took off over two weeks around Christmas. It's kinda frustrating. At my brother's job, I'm not sure exactly how it works but they all get sorta crappy allotments for Christmas if they put in for it but they won't just give it all to one person if they put in for it.
