Topic	Can't believe the EU won't recognize Catalonia

They want to separate from Spain because they are getting gouged with taxes and they are not getting their money back. Spain and basically evey major European country won't recognize the country despite an overwhelming majority of Catalons wanting to separate. Bunch of poop heads! Oh, how long has this been happening? Is Catalonia a particularly richer region? How is the infrastructure doing? Why can't they petition the government for more of their money back? What is Spain's response to all of this, in particular the accusations of the lack of infrastructure?
