| Mr Lasastryke 10/24/17 8:53:10 AM #5: | oh yeah, i didn't realize that i looked at this from a european perspective and that adele's debut may not have been as big of a deal overseas. but yeah, make you feel my love and chasing pavements were both huge in my country - the former peaked at #1 and the latter at #3 in our top 40. cold shoulder was played a lot too. never heard hometown glory (the first single) on the radio, though. (i also remember hearing right as rain a lot for some reason - she didn't even release that one as a single!) edit: oh duh, i actually heard hometown glory on the radio all the time. just didn't associate that title with that song.
