ME1 was the only game in the series that had a stand out narrative imo My biggest complaint about the game is how repetetive the combat starts to feel. Dragon Age Inquisition had the same issue. They had potential story-wise, then it just dies mid game when you realize that the bonemen are the only guys, the first big ol spoiler was dumb and the second big ol spoiler was cool. The reason why it seems like 2 and 3 were better is because the characters made the story better and Shepard wasntba huge bitch.
