It was terrible before that. The entire premise of the ending if it was played totally straight is stupid as all hell. And I don't mean the whole 'its a commentary from Kodaka about being tired of writing Danganronpa and he hates his fans!' misinterpretation that some people have. It saves it, of course, if they follow up on it anyway. Which they probably will.
