If somebody tries to murder you and you survive then you can call yourself a survivor.
This is part of their attempt to make rape on an equal level to murder.
Anyway, this is a bad hill to die on. Any time you start arguing about this, as you see, people are going to start trying to paint you as a sexual abuser.
Part of me wants to say that this is something really benign to just let happen. A lot of women are going to want to take advantage of this opportunity to join the victim's club in public.
But it's also going to be cathartic to actual sexual assault victims to get some solidarity. And maybe it will be a teachable moment for dudes that don't know where the line is. I'd say it's probably an overall net good.
It should be equal to murder.
