#41 Final Fabtasy Brigade. (Cloud, Leon [Squall] Yuffie, Tifa, seed #2 Hades Paradox Cup)

This continues the tradition of the Hades Cups of being a murderous second to last boss (Hades and FF Brigade) and an absolutely laughable one. (Rock Titan and Hades).

Look, obviously Hades isn't as easy as Rock Titan was, but still, absolute joke compared to this. And as mueserous as Hades was the first time around, oh good lord he has nothing on this.

Let's get it out of the way right now. Yes in Final Mix you can absolutely go Limit, spam Sonic Blade and trivialize this fight as you kill and heal simultaneously... fine. Fair enough.

We didn't have that in vanilla. In fact, I believe this was the second hardest fight in vanilla. (I'd have to check, I have the list of 50 obviously).

So let's talk Vanilla.

Tifa is fast as hell, relentless and hits like a truck. Cloud will Omni Slash which is really hard to dodge them all, and Squall goes Lionhart pretty much from word go. Now. Cloud and Squall can come at you quick (especially Cloud with Sonic Blade) but they don't do it constantly. Tifa does. You barely get a chance to cast Thunder before Tifa is in top of you. And realistically you have to to do just that, because fighting all 4 of them 1 on 4 in straight melee combat is probably harder than Sephiroth even. They obliterate your health bar. It will take forever, and she only needs to get two combos on you before you heal to kill you.... but once you do clear her out with Thunder this fight becomes easier (not easy mind you, but easier) Find way to keep rolling at Yuffie and keep peppering her with short combos (hope to God you don't have combo pluses on) to get rid of her mage.

Then you just have to go 1 on 2 with the two most famous FF heroes and their ultra iconic weapons and Limit Breaks. If you get between them you are almost assuredly dead. Slide and strike, slide and strike, maybe glide if you have full Final Form, High Jump and double jump are god sends here as while Cloud can hit you high, Squall pretty much can't, (normal situations) so you can leap him and hit him with short air combos coming down. Take out whoever first, (usually Squall) and then it's one on one time. And while they might be god like at a Blade in their games, this is KH, and Sora is just better than them one on one. Just don't get stupid or cocky. Heal if you need, and run away if it comes to that. Once it's down to 1 or 2 left you should honestly melt their HP bar.
