As long as the loot is available to earn through regular (albeit potentially lengthy/grindy) gameplay, then whats the harm? Developers are shutting down left and right in this make-or-break market, theyre all looking for ways to turn a profit and keep afloat. If microtransactions will keep them in business, I see them as a good thing. No one forces you to buy loot boxes.
