Okay, I'm not usually one to do this, but I'm actually gonna give Corrik props for that response. It IS a quote out of context and thus SHOULDN'T be blindly treated as a blatant fuck-up of speech. I mean, liberals bitch and moan about it when conservatives take things out of context, but this is a guy taking what he considers something stupid/terrible in Trump's interview, so we shouldn't blindly accept and criticize. It's much better than taking the biased and cherry-picked source and blindly defending it with bullshit argument (see: Ulti) without bothering to do even minimal legwork to check the original source. Well the source did link to the video from that interview so you don't have to take him at his word. I'm aware of that. But the way it was posted, it's like "Dohoho, look at this stupid, self-centered thing Trump said" even though it's still taken out of context. It's no different than shit conservatives do, where they give the option of looking at the context, but don't expect anyone to actually do so when they post something outrageous. He was fact checking a 30 minute interview in real time via twitter. To expect anything more than the highlights as they happen would be asinine. That is just who Donald Trump is and there isn't really anything the reporter can do to change that. Well, I tend to be skeptical about Twitter sources regarding statements as they have been spun countless times before. Hell, even CNN tried to say Trump said Puerto Rico was not a real catastrophe and Katrina was.
