The founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger -- who was literally honored alongside MLK -- wanted to see abortions expanded because she was a strong proponent of eugenics. She thought that increasing the number of these clinics in poor urban areas would lead to many black babies being aborted, which would improve the "breeding stock" of the U.S. population. It's amazing that the left now hails her as a hero. So, knowing what we all know about the violence in Chicago, I can't exactly view this as a progressive endorsement coming from a Republican governor. Sanger was a sick fuck and I can't believe people still honor her, it's fucking gross and pathetic; but it's not like she came up with the idea of abortions.
