You want to wear a pocket square to Firehouse Subs looool

you're a goof, straight up

This discouraged me. I think I'll pass on the pocket square.

Good luck and I'll send some positive energy your way. I belt would be nice if you have time to get it, plus I'm sure you'll have other reasons to use it, so not a waste of money. But like someone else said you could probably get by with some nice pants and shirt. A suit might be a little too dressy for the position. Just be sure you smile because that is what they like to see.

Can't wait to hear that you got the job!

D'aww, thanks!

Um, I worked at a few fast food places when I was in my late teens, while going to a trade school during the day etc. I also have known many people that have worked at them. Heck even interviewing for Starbucks (which I would classify a bit higher then most fast food as far as required attire), still doesn't really need you to dress up.

You can, but as someone who has actually hired people for many positions (Even when I was 19 and working at Carl's Jn), as long as you don't look homeless (and even then, we had 2 homeless people working for us at Carl's jnr, one of which was seasonal (we would hire him back each year), your set.

Focus on more important things, like making a good impression with your personality, experience you have in the field, how you will treat customers. Be ready to answer questions about specific situations that may come up etc.

All that will make a much larger difference then how well you dress up, past a certain point of course. If you have saggy pants and look like your a wannabe rapper or something, that is a different story. IF you look like an average person who walks into Firehouse subs, your fine.

Yeah, I think I should be fine in that department so long as I don't have a brain fart or something. I've already got my answers planned out for the whole "what's your best/worst quality" deal. I think I'll do good in the interview.

Is this guy still pretending to not be Carlisle? He mentioned in the other topic that he's fat and he worked fast food before, and getting way too excited for a fast food interview and overdressing totally sounds like a Carlisle thing.

Just wear a polo shirt over some jeans, untucked. Solves two problems at once: You aren't overdressing, and you can cover up the fact you don't have a belt.

I'm not, and being fat and having worked fast food are hardly uncommon traits. And I'm an enthusiastic person, sue me.
